It is so quiet while the students take their placement test that you can hear a pin drop or at least the birds singing first thing in the morning. Luckily, once the test was over, everyone was much more communicative during the classsroom activities.

Course Description 

This course develops the skills necessary to describe how management principles work. Students will present information in both written and oral forms. The aim of this course is to equip the students with the relevant skills, so that by the end of the semester, they will effectively describe various management principles, both in written and oral forms.

 

 

Objectives 

At the end of the course, students will have effectively demonstrated competence in the following:
1. Describing how management principles work in writing (to include Maslow, McGregor and Hertzberg).
2. To orally describe how management principles work.
3. Use of Microsoft Word and email to complete assessment.

 

 

Secondary Objective

At the end of the course, students will have effectively identified management principles in English and have been motivated to demonstrate their confidence by producing oral presentations and written reports in English.
